Product Visionary – Innovation

The Guns are looking for a digital innovation mastermind to serve as the Product Visionary for a major technology company in the financial arena. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the strategy for this client’s high-profile consumer wealth management product. If you’re a prediction, personalization, and data viz wonk, you’ll go GaGa for this Gig.

Gun Profile

You’ve got serious experience in building and managing next-level digital products for the consumer market. You have managed large, diverse teams in a high-pressure environments without breaking a sweat. Your ability to work cross-functionally with creatives and developers to shepherd projects through from concept to completion is legendary. Of course, you’ve also demonstrated serious facility in developing innovative strategic plans. Tall buildings? You leap those in a single bound too. You’ve honed a keen understanding of consumer behavior as it applies to data-rich products — from tools to off-the-charts chartography.  The right alchemy in your background should include time spent building subscription-based products that have a lot of personalization behind them and a heavy prediction component. You know how to create scary-sticky products that drive consumers through a sales funnel and then into the guts of your product where they feel safe and homey and never want to leave.

You’ll need to be a proven behaviorist, a powerful and persuasive manager, and a consensus builder to land this job. However, none of that will help you if it doesn’t come in a polished and presentable package. Remember, our client needs to feel comfortable enough with you to entrust you to “sell the vision” to higher ups internally and to clients exernally. The company here is a well-known entity in their space, so expect the interview process to be rigorous. Come with your A game and, ideally, a very strong POV around how to tackle their challenge.

Nitty Gritty

This client needs a consummate professional to command respect in both client-facing situations as well as with internal teams. Leadership is key here; you’ll be expected to make an immediate mark in an already prestigious organization. You’re going to have to take the reins immediately, be resourceful, autonomous, entrepreneurial, and extremely hands-on with both the team you manage and the projects you own. This Guns client expects you to come in with a strong knowledge of the space and some well-informed opinions about where it is going and where it should go.

Inside Skinny

Ideally, you’ve been a game changer in another vertical and can apply that same thinking to disrupting the high net worth space. Last year we banned the phrase “game changer” from our Gig Alerts, but in this case the phrase is completely apt because we really need one.

Net-Net

If you’re an experienced senior Product Visionary that likes blue sky, an open roadmap and the R&D budget to get things right, this could be the ideal gig for you. Apply us ASAP. We’re waiting for you…

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, marital status, disability, or any other status protected by applicable law.
